Pointers & Pines Brittanys strives hard to ensure that your puppy is a strong healthy representative of the breed. By choosing outstanding hunting dogs to breed and using good common sense practices we attempt to provide every customer with a dog that will hunt hard and be obedient, and loving. To this end we offer the Standard Breeders Guarantee which is the following:
The puppy is guaranteed at the time of sale in good health. The buyer has a health guarantee of 48 hours, or 72 hours if sale is on the weekend, beginning on the date of sale. During this period the buyer is encouraged to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. If anything life threatening is found, the puppy will be exchanged for another puppy of equal value or a refund will be given provided that a letter from the examining veterinarian is offered as evidence of the pup's illness and the puppy is returned within the guaranteed period.
Pointers @ Pines Brittanys assumes no responsibility for the puppy after leaving the premises including, but not limited to medical expenses, mortality, landlord disapproval, allergies or disagreement of family. It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to the sold puppy except as set herein.

Our puppy process
Our dogs have been selectively obtained for their hunting traits, as well as their personality and behavioral traits. While they all have tremendous field trial bloodlines, we hunt them and train them for upland bird hunting situations, not field trialing. Whether you hunt or not a dog that has been hunted all of its life is a happy, affectionate, obedient, well adjusted dog, and that dog tends to produce the same type of offspring. The attention they get through hunting makes them very special animals, and they continue to pass on those traits to our puppies.
All of our puppies come with their first shots, dew claws removed and tails docked. All of our litters are pre-registered with the American Kennel Club, and you will be provided with an AKC registration form to register your puppy once you name it. We can even help suggest names if you would like.
I personally observe the provision of the shots and the veterinary inspection (which includes a hip inspection) a few days prior to your pick-up.
Typically your puppy will be available to take home at approximately seven weeks, but each puppy is an individual and is observed and treated as such. We will work out a pick-up time that considers your busy schedule.
We are happy to offer any other friendly advice regarding training tips, interaction with children, or any other question that you might have.
